Alpha-Amylase HS®

Alpha-Amylase HS® is a family of three non-GMO, food grade, thermostable alpha-amylases that have been designed especially for applications in brewing, potable alcohol, and starch hydrolysis processes.


Alpha-Amylase HS® is a robust bacterial alpha-amylase with superior thermal stability. Alpha-Amylase HS® is produced from a non-GMO strain of Bacillus licheniformis and has been designed for use in a wide range of food and beverage processes and does not require additional calcium for operating under most liquefaction conditions.
