Alpha-Amylase HT®
Alpha-Amylase HT® is a family of five thermostable, food grade, α-amylases that effectively liquefy starch under a broad range of processing conditions. Alpha-Amylase HT®, available in both liquid and powder forms, has been specifically designed for maltose production and starch hydrolysis processes. Alpha-Amylase HT® maintains excellent stability at very high processing temperatures.

DESCRIPTION
Alpha-Amylase HT® is a line of high performance, food grade, bacterial alpha-amylases produced from a selected strain of Bacillus licheniformis that rapidly hydrolyzes α-1,4-glucosidic bonds to reduce the viscosity of gelatinized starches. Alpha-Amylase HT® effectively converts insoluble starch into dextrins and fermentable maltose and glucose.
